![]() He sacrificed the useless management level of his organization in Cuba just to make sure his own agent remained embeded in Safins organization so as he could run things by remote control and get himself sprung from prison to hook up with the remaining faction of his organization he didn't sacrifice. The "dead are alive" at the beginning of the film is a reference to the Day of the Dead celebration in Mexico, the setting for the pre-title teaser in the film. What we saw happen in Belmarsh wasn't an assassination - it was a jail-break. I don't mean it's unfitting for a villain of Blofelds stature - I don't mean "don't these silly people know how to make Bond movies, how silly they all are!" - I'm saying they've pulled a fast one with the story. It is strange they go to all that trouble bringing Blofeld back just to have him die really without even a fitting death scene where he suffers - just quietly "Oh, he's dead now" - move on - is all very, very wrong. ![]() Meaning whoever sent them was getting live information from inside Safin's base. ![]() If it was the Russians or the Japaneses, they'd've sent warships - we saw the Russians sent Migs, Safins Island is disputed territory, they're entitled to use a military response - it's the British who are trespassing - these were high speed non-military boats and they had to have come from somewhere in rage to show up as quickly as they did and I doubt they were sent there to politely ask for Heracles - they were sent to take it the instant it looked like Safin was going to loose it. It only took two 00 Agents to infiltrate and overwhelm security there, those were two high power private cruisers, non-military, heading for the island most likely with the intent to take Heracles. Safin must have been getting his information about SPECTRE from Primo, we assume what takes place all because Safin believes he has the upper hand - but what if Blofeld simply sacrifices SPECTRE just to make sure Safin trusts Primos loyalty to him without question.īeing implicit in the deaths of his former colleges this must win Safin trust as we later see the case on his Poison Garden Island - Primo holds a high rank in Safins organization - meaning, what we see in happen in Cuba could simply have been a gambit on Blofeld's part to ensure his double agent remained embedded close to Safin by sacrificing everyone else.Īsk yourself - after Blofelds surprisingly quick and painless death in Belmarsh - Primo is there on Safins Island, high ranking - his bionic-eye very much in evidence - two questions stick out like saw thumbs:ġ: Who is Primo sending telementary back to - Blofelds supposed to be dead, right?Ģ: Who sent those boats still heading towards Safins Island at the time the missile strike hits? Blofeld however - the man you would assume Safin wants to suffer most of all because of what Blofeld had done to his parents - dies without a sound and quicker than Bond can calm down enough to turn round.īlofeld doesn't suffer at all and - bear in mind here - Safin ensures that the fate he endured, watching his own entire family die in front of him happens to Blofled, knowing he is tele-prescencing in Cuba via his bionic-eye link, knowing he is watching the remainder of his organization die screaming in agony on his birthday, of all days. We are shown the effects of Heracles on its intended victims in Cuba - they die screaming in agony. This really can only mean Primo was a double agent embedded in Safins organization spying for Blofeld all the time - meaning - Blofeld knew about Safin, his operation, and had eyes and ears on it for some considerable time as well as hands and a man in his corner who had access to Obruchev who programs the nano-virus. We know his henchman Primo was recruited by Logan Ash to work for Safin via the data stored on Blofelds eye-drive, more importantly - we know that Primo knew that Blofeld knew this while Blofeld was still running things from his cell. In that time he orchestrated the theft of Heracles as well as it's architect a defected, Russian Scientist. Blofled was in control of everything all from his prison cell for 5 years before anyone rumbled what he was up to. I can't believe they brought back SPECTRE and Blofeld for one movie just to unceremoniously kill them both off/all in the next movie.
